active Installing P3dV5 in Orbx Central ...lost all my scenery in P3Dv4.5

Hi,

 

I installed P3Dv5 non the same HD als P3Dv4.5.

 

Now i followed Ed's post to install v5 next to V4.5 in Central

 

I only installed Global Base until now, but when i take a look in Central at the P3Dv4.5 tab, all th Orbx products are not installed anymore....except Global Base.

 

When i look in Central i have to redownload and install all my Orbx products in P3Dv4.5 again?

Just now i checked my P3dV4.5.....all my Orbx scenery is lost....have to download and reinstall everything....

Hello,

if you moved all your scenery, then it will indeed be lost to P3D v4.

If you copied it, then it could not be lost.

If you did move it, perhaps you could copy it back.

I did not move anything.

 

Don't know what happened.... i followed Ed's post on what to do and lost all my Orbx P3DV4.5 installs.

 

The scenery files are still in the P3DV4.5 directory, but the scenery.cfg lost the all the Orbx entries and in Central i lost the installs too.

 

I am now setting back a backup of my HD and try again tomorrow.

if the files are still there, then Sync Simulator should replace all the cfg file entries that are required.
