answered Updates not well integrated

Operating system:  WIN10

Simulator:  P3Dv4

Issue:  

When updates for Chaseplane are published they sometimes appear (not always) in the right corner of Orbx Central. I apply the install - but when I go flying in the sim or start chaseplane it also shows the download "apply update" sign highlighted and when clicking on it it also starts an update... this is confusing and sometimes annoying when I update via Central and have to update again in-sim after starting up.

Which app is the "update master"? Central or Chaseplane itself?

Hello,

ChasePlane has its own update system alongside our own update system. We update our version infrequently and generally when major changes are made to ChasePlane that affect its installation process. More frequent updates are made to ChasePlane via its own update system. We are looking at ways to make the two systems more tightly integrated in the future.
