Guest Josh Koz
Hi @Anchor2020, What location have you set the temporary path to in the Downloader settings and does that folder exist on a volume with enough free space? When Orbx Central begins an installation, zip files are downloaded to the temporary folder (which you can set in the 'Downloader' settings) before being extracted to their final location. If this folder doesn't have enough free space it's possible it's stalled the installation process.
Anchor2020
I am setting it to install in my volume with 800+GB
Guest Josh Koz
Hi @Anchor2020, The provided log file indicates that the temp directory is set to /var/folders/0n/nllpcrkx0tq1c360ls4x0pz40000gn/T/Orbx/temp. This will be where files downloaded to before they are extracted to the /Volumes/Data volume. Can you set the 'Temporary Location' in your Orbx Central Downloader settings to a folder on your 800GB volume to see if the issue persists? Guest Josh Koz
Hi @Anchor2020, Can you attach your log file now that you've hit the frozen download and we can rule out temp disk space? I'm working on an update to Orbx Central which will provide further diagnostic information during the download process to help diagnose issues like this. Guest Josh Koz
Hi @Anchor2020, Your log file seems to indicate that the the installation process hasn't completely frozen. You can see in the following log file entries that the the progress files are still converting just before central is restarted: 2020-04-29T03:23:57.457Z [INFO] [Saturn] - us-florida-hd-xp11: 12.00% Downloaded: 2.74 GB / 43.06 GB (11.07 MB/s). The installation process is quite intensive and is performing a download, extraction and conversion of multiple files. You should be able to if this is the case by looking at the CPU tab in Activity Monitor to see if your disk active time or CPU utilization is close 100%.
