Davo79
Hi guys I recently upgraded to P3D 4.5 HF3. That all seemed to install fine. I loaded up P3D and this loaded fine and sceneries seemed to be sitting in the right place. For peace of mind, I went to synchronise the simulator in Orbx Central and received the message. An error occured whilst trying to synchronise your simulator I've deleted my scenery.cfg file and restarted P3D allowing it to load a new scenery.cfg file. Went back into the sim and found my scenery library all messed up and sceneries that were installed were missing but I tried to synchronise the sim again in Orbx Central and unsuccessful again , receiving the same warning message. An error occured whilst trying to synchronise your simulator I've attached my Orbx log for your reference. Not sure whether to unload HF3 and go back to HF2. Seemed to be digging a bigger hole when the options here. Assistance is appreciated please. Thanks & Kind Regards David central.log
Nick Cooper
Hello David, it looks like your scenery.cfg file is corrupt. Please rename it and let P3D create a new one. Then close P3D and open Orbx Central. Run Settings\Help\Sync Simulator, wait for the green bar to appear. Close Orbx Central.
Mitchell Williamson
Hi David, It appears you are using the legacy layering option which is prone to this type of issues. Please go to Settings, Insertion Point and disable legacy layering. You can then run Sync Simulator again.
