teecee
What do you think? Be sure to watch the vid at the bottom. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1265891/Hold-think-youre-going-Skydiver-grabs-gliders-tail-fin-fly-2-100-metres-100mph.html
Alcibiades
Guts and crazy often go hand in hand to the point where they are inseparable. Not crazy about the graphics in the video clip, though. Those mountains could use a touch of Holger mesh.
John York
Very amusing but where was the photographer? On the wing of another 'plane?!! John

Tigerclaw
I didn't think it was crazy at all to start with. You could see he had a parachute on, so if anything went wrong, he was pretty safe. Impressive glider flying though, considering there's no engines on those things The only bit I found crazy was parachuting with a helicopter below, now that was just plain dumb
Bruce Hamilton
The only bit I found crazy was parachuting with a helicopter below I was just waiting for him to become half the man he used to be as he went by.
John Dow
The only bit I found crazy was parachuting with a helicopter below, now that was just plain dumb I have a feeling the helicopter pilot might just possibly have known what he or she was doing. skypilot
Bond, James Bond comes to mind? I learnt to glide in the good old blanik. They must have had some height - in the sequence of touching the tail of the upside down blanik, the top blanik had the airbrakes out.
CathyH
Ah yes, the L-13, hell, that was MODERN. I rmember when my section of the RNZAF aviation sports club got one, we also had two Rohnlerches, which was what I learned in. Ah, those were the days, when we had to chase the Tyrannosauraus off the airfield first
jgutteri
To me the whole thing was just extremely cool. Trust Red Bull to sponsor this. I'm not a fan of their drinks, but the stuff they sponsor is plain awesome (F1 team and air racing to name a couple). And as much kudos needs to go to the glider pilots as the stuntman. Thanks for sharing the clip!
