Stillwater Posted April 16, 2020 Share Posted April 16, 2020 Knowing not much about Madagascar, I just set up another short flight in a versatile bush plane. Starting in Mahanoro to fly along the Ocean and then follow the only road around. Well prepared. No speedoes today, it just looks too much like rain. And it DOES rain along the coast, ... ... for example over Atsinanana. While the Aussies have used all the "O"s of the southern hemisphere for their village names, I now know where the "A"s have ended. Heading inland, jungle awaits. No good place for an emergency landing. Do not think the rain would stop here. It finally gets better while following THE road.... ... to Moramanga city. Really great terrain here. And this is "only" a landclass scenery! Antananarivo. Another collection of "A"s. Not an impressive airport scenery, but at least some houses dropped.
