Hi Josh, here ya go:- Operating system: Windows 10 Simulator: P3DV4.5 Screenshot: Issue: I have manually downloaded and saved most of my Orbx sceneries which are saved on a drive of their own. I have the need to install some of them which I have not had installed for some time. eg, England, the Zip files are there when I access the folder in Windows, and show a long list of Compressed files, when I go to install via Orbx central and try to install from manually downloaded files, when I click to the folder, the folder shows empty. It then simply tries to redownload the entire scenery from Orbx Direct!! This is a real PITA as I have a slow internet connection and the thought of having to download loads of sceneries yet again, fills me with dread. Your help with be gratefully received Josh. Cheers.
Doug Sawatzky Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Hi Howard If your backups were created using the previous app called FTX Central 3 then they are not compatible with the new app called Orbx Central.

Wow, that seems crazy, surely. So are you saying I really need to redownload all my sceneries Doug?
Doug Sawatzky Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Sorry Howard, but yes, I would also recommend using the backup option in Orbx Central, I found it works amazing.

When viewed in Windows, the usual array of Zip files are there, when I try to install from these files as a manually downloaded backup, from FTX Cental, there are no files to be seen and it then starts to download directly from the internet.
Doug Sawatzky Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Hi Howard My above image is of Orbx Central not FTX Central.
Nick Cooper Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Howard> Yes, Orbx Central cannot deal with FTX Central files and will indeed download its own version instead.
