Issue:  I was looking for something unrelated to Orbx when I discovered every single one of my auto-discovery add-on.xml files had be modified by OC and a backup of my original names as add-on.ocbackup.... not appreciated.  I have a strong dislike for any 3d party addon modifying other 3d party information.  No warning.  You just did it.  And now I have to troubleshoot numerous problems that you have introduced.

The files that I put in the P3D Documents Addon folders are my files, they are not there for you to modify as you see fit for your purposes.

Man.... I never expected a developer as highly respected as Orbx to do something like this.  You need to follow the lead that Flightbeam provides, where they will identity potential problems and allow to user to elect to apply the fix or not apply the fix.  And even in the case of Flightbeam there is at least one recommend fix that causes all kinds of problems if accept but at least Flightbeam has the hubris to not 'secretly' make those changes.

Okay, I am upset... I am as upset over this as I've ever been over anything in flight simulation for decades.
