ascot2054 Posted March 29, 2020 Share Posted March 29, 2020 Hi, Has anyone else had problems with this scenery package.?? i have installed it, ran ftx configurator but i don't seem to have the terminal buildings in Hamburg airport EDDH as per the attached pic. Hoffie 3000 Posted March 29, 2020 Share Posted March 29, 2020 You have to disable some files in GEN. If I remember right it was 3 files. Use the windows search to find them. Are your scenery complexity sliders high enough and are the Orbx Libraries installed, if indeed this is a problem with Orbx software at all? Nick Cooper Posted April 4, 2020 Share Posted April 4, 2020 Hello, there are not many reasons for buildings to be missing from Orbx regional airports. They are: The region is not installed or active. The Orbx Libraries are not installed or not active. The scenery complexity sliders are too far to the left. The scenery configuration is corrupt. Libray files uninstalled and reinstalled, as well as being verified. Something i have noticed is that the library files are installed as follows:- Drive:\ Microsoft \ FSX \ Orbx \ FTX_AU \ FTXAA_ORBXLIBS (spacing for clarity) Does this look correct ?? Any help appreciated as im now puzzled... The surrounding sceenrey looks awesome... just a let down now with the airports !! Nick Cooper Posted April 10, 2020 Share Posted April 10, 2020 The scenery.cfg file in your FSX folder should be just a default version, so at some point, you must have copied over it. Nick Cooper Posted April 10, 2020 Share Posted April 10, 2020 Hello, that is not an error, it just means that you have not yet assigned a program to open a *.cfg file. Notepad will open it, set that as your default to stop seeing the message. In any case, you do not need to open it, just attach a copy of it to your next post please.
