[Package.13]

as indicated in both files.

Can you show where the Vector entries are in your scenery library please, with a screen shot if possible?

Hello Hans,

sorry, I missed that.

I have concentrated on this:

B mit Orbx (10.000 ft. EDDH).jpg

I see this:

which is more or less the same, except that your water textures are black and you have some night textures showing.

I agree that the water bodies do seem to be somewhat random.

Less so in Orbx Germany

Can you try the steps in this topic please?

Hello Nick,

I've done the steps above as you requested.

As a reminder i have neither Global Base nor openLC products installed, just only Orbx Libraries and Global Vector.

The main problem is the lack of highways and roads.

I have attached 4 pictures, each with active / deactivating Global Vector and Orbx Libraries.

  1.  Pic = active Global Vector, active Orbx Libraries
  2.  Pic = active Global Vector, without Orbx Libraries
  3.  Pic = without Global Vector, active Orbx Libraries
  4.  Pic = without Global Vector, without Orbx Libraries

Regards,

Hans

Hello Hans,

I have never tried to use Global Vector on its own and as it is an accessory to Global base,

I am surprised that is is working as well as it seems to be.

The green lines are, I believe, supposed to be the "firebreaks" under a row of electricity pylons.

I am very pleased to say that I do not see them.

Hello Nick,

I am absolutely unhappy with the result.
Nowhere have I found anything that Global Vector cannot be used without Global Base installed.
First and foremost, I bought Global Vectors to make coastlines and water surfaces look better and to have airport elevations corrected.
The latter works well, but water surfaces look much worse than the original.
What doesn't work at all are the disappeared highways and streets when Global Vectors is active.

Do you have any suggestions to make highways and roads over land available again?

Regards, Hans

Hello,

every product has an information at the foot of its Orbx Direct product page, that shows what other products may be required.

I am sorry that you did not see it.

I have attached a screenshot below.

Can you try un-ticking Pylons in the Vector Control panel, then you might no

longer see the green stripes.

Or if only Orbx Central is used:
