Next stop: Holland

Stillwater

This will be a long flight, given that we start at Niagara Falls, US side. At least it covers a number of states...

Turning west over Ontario would be a shortcut. Already doubting my navigation skills?

At the outlet of Lake Huron we find the bridge of Sarnia, ON.

Lansing, Michigan awaits, with its malls and shops.

Grand Rapids Gerald R. Ford Intl. airport could be a place to stop, but not today, ...

... because we go on to Holland, Michigan, ...

... "Tulip City" the airport is called, for reason.

Just a short hop towards city center.

Mt. Pisgah is hard to see in the sim, to the right under the 530.

Big Red is worth a view, unfortunately I can´t show you - you need to follow the link: https://www.holland.org/things-do/historical/big-red-lighthouse

The shores of Lake Macatawa (in the heart of the city) provide bars with good food & drinks, well deserved after this "transcontinental" flight.

Great post Gerold!!!!!!!!!!!  I have never been to Michigan, so thanks for the shots and narration.

Thank you John. This is another purpose of this forum: Giving travelling ideas - or showing something of areas we never reach.

Another entertaining flight Gerold.

The folks from Michigan must be great travellers as almost every tourist I met in Alaska was from there!

Interesting to learn about the Michiganians, I never heard that. Might there be a reason, like a special discount of the only travel agency in Detroit or so?
