nfinger
i am getting OOM errors recently on P3D 4.513.32097 with openLC Europe. It loads up to 72-74% then starts using memory until an out of memory windows error is displayed. After uninstalling it OOM's are gone completely. Any idea? my system and log files are attached. central.log

nfinger
Hi Nick, as per my original post I am using P3D v 4.5 with 32GB of RAM. I have re-installed it and got the same results, see attached.
Nick Cooper
I wonder if you have disabled your page file and if you enabled it, this problem would go away?

nfinger
unfortunately it did not fix the issue, installed openLC Europe again, started to load EDDF and got a CTD at 74% terrain loading with the following app crash report. also attached windows error report. .NET Runtime Application: Prepar3D.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Doug Sawatzky
I would then try reinstalling just the P3Dv4 client only, which will replace the faulting terrain.dll showing in the crash report.
nfinger
ok, thanks will try that next.
nfinger
made no difference, re-installed P3D client after uninstalling it first and still have the same issue. there must be a memory leak within the ORBX install. no issue when openLC Europe is uninstalled. Doug Sawatzky
Hi No one else has this issue...so maybe remove the terrain.cfg and restart the sim to build a new one, then shut down the sim and run Orbx Central and the sync simulator function. nfinger
tried that also and got another OOM error. For now will leave it off as nobody else has this issue.
BoyScout
Have you deleted your P3D.cfg? Have you tried lowering your simulator settings? Thanks Rob
nfinger
tried that too with same result, have uninstalled all ORBX scenery and will load one by one over the next few days. One thing I noticed with all ORBX scenery removed, it loads in no time at all, <20sec.
