Thank you, I'm happy with someone jumping in with a new airport :)

It's the highest airport in the UK, suffers from crosswinds and fog plus it has a very uneven runway (as seen in second picture).

I have never seen Leeds/Bradford, so this is a learning for me.

Whoever is able to continue, please feel free to post a picture!

@Stillwater

Gerold, will pics of airports by Orbx partner companies be okay?

Hello @wolfko, I would say yes, because we are about to post real life shots, no competitors stuff.

But basically this is a question to the Orbx moderators, e. g. @Iain Emms or @Nick Cooper: Is it accepted to advertise Orbx partner airports by posting real life shots of them here?

Hello Wolfgang, I was just thinking: When I started this post in 2019, there was no MSFS or partner companies selling via Orbx. At that time it was obvious to limit all pictures to Orbx-created stuff. But meanwhile there are only very few Orbx-sceneries coming to the market. Which would mean, we may broaden the scope of this post to everything what is sold via Orbx.

And as there have been no objections by the experts, I would say: Give it a go, Wolfgang (and all the other enthusiasts)!

Thanks for stepping in Graeme. I was a bit lazy looking for the right pic.

So, Sunglass Hut indicates, that it is an Australian airport. Emirates Lounge tell us it must be an international one.

Now we have the choice.:D

And it has 80 gates, so probably not Hervey Bay…

Yep Brisbane International of course. I took that last Sunday when picking up my daughter from her Schoolies (Aussies will know what that is) in Fiji. I’ll be back up there on Wednesday to pick up my wife on her return from the UK. Well done Wolfgang.

Cheers

Graeme :)

Agreed - Felts Field in Spokane, WA

You both got it. It was a wonderful flight from Chicago to Seattle, and paying for Eco+ was worth it (empty middle seat).

I had expected John @BradB to be the first to recognize it...

I think we need a clue Gerold. The hills look Scottish to me.

Okay Graeme, I post a second shot, taken just a minute before the other one. In fact great to read these hills were looking Scottish - there is only a cultural link between these places, not a geographic one. As the icon of the airline may indicate...

The icon indicates Air New Zealand.

Is it Queenstown?

You got it, Wolfgang. You are a real expert in guessing...

Queenstown,  New Zealand - guess I was a little late.  I think Wolfko's got it.

... and you confirmed the right place as well.

Do you or Wolfgang have a fresh riddle for us, or should I get you another?

What? You were just recently in NZ? You kept that to yourself!

Hahaha, sometimes I need to hide ... just that I would not be stopped on the way.

So many great views and walks...

Here is the final hint for NZQN:

You got it, and you were the fastest. Do you have a fresh quest for us, Paul?

Correct continent, correct country. But the wrong island, my friend.

I'm late to the party but I think paulk is right on the nose.  It looks like Nelson, NZ to me.

Rod

Indeed Rod, that was it.

And you have confirmed the right one as well, Rob.

Please find enclosed some more close-ups of this lovely airport.
