zazaboeing
Along with the vector and the runway over water, the airport is all wrong by default, so a new Freeware Version from @larryisenor would be very much appreciated!
carlosqr
Hello Rafael Sabretooth78 has kindly provided me with fixes for some Costa Rica airports as I have reported that and he seems to have the knowledge to fix it He has fixed several airports already just because of his own initiative So please feel free to review his post here and download the fixes to that and other Costa Rican airports ( though I think the airport you mean is MRPV?) Your pictures don't display Best regards Carlos
carlosqr
Hi Raphael I think you meant MRDK (Drake Bay) as that is the one that goes offshore this is the airstrip with Sabretooth78 fix Correctly positioned by him as per Google I searched for MRPM, that is Palmar Sur ( which would a great candidate to be done by Orbx ) And in my sim it shows with two airstrips, being the wrong one where the plane starts the one that heads north Though when on the ground there is just one The oddest thing But when you take off it is there... Was I too far for it? maybe Do you have this problem too? Regards, Carlos

There's this "ghost" runway and it does not sit on the land like yours, maybe the Sabretooth corrections fixed it? Mine is pretty awful, with mid runway sitting under water and incorrect runways positions. Top Down view: Nothing but Global / Vector/ OpenLC NA and SA activated. PS: Drake (MRDK) is correct on my sim.
carlosqr
Hi Rafael Which P3D version you have? Is strange that Drake shows well in yours and also the ghost issue you have I have no replies for either issue Latin America is not a topic of high importance to Orbx and now they are concentrated in both due Land Classes projects which I bet are time consuming, so I doubt we get a reply/fix for these issues. Sabretooth78 is just a user not an Obrx official staff, he simply and very kindly, with his knowledge managed to get some airports fixed and shared the fixes with the community. He does that as a sort of hobby, but I had the impression he in pretty busy If he ever reads this, it might be possible he could get interested in helping. I really could not tell if this is a P3D issue or Orbx Vector. As far as I know vector fixes coast lines, rivers and some airport elevations but not sure about the position of the airport.. Also none of your pictures display It could be helpful to see them Regards, Carlos
Sabretooth78
I just posted a fix for MRPM in my thread linked above. I didn't see the closed runway as a "ghost" but I removed it (since it doesn't exist) and hopefully that'll fix the issue. The airport was also incorrectly placed approx. 830 feet to the east.
