Issue:  Installer Freezing

Afternoon all,

Upon starting Orbx Central earlier I had a update to do, I clicked on the update however my computer crashed half way through (unrelated).

When the PC came back online, I tried to click on Orbx Central but it came up with a error message that stated it's location could not be found.

I tried a re-install, but every-time I try the installer hangs.

I've tried removing the folders from the roaming and local files in the USER/App Data locations, but to no avail.

I'm trying to install in Administrator, and have even tried to install in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

In the mean time I have FTX Central installed again, however it's saying none of my products are installed as they're installed outside of the Sim.

Any ideas at all please?

Thanks,

James Roberts

Hi James,

Can you try completing uninstalling Orbx Central as well as the %LocalAppData%\orbx-central-updater directory? Performing a clean install of the latest version then should hopefully resolve your issue.

I've also just gone through the registry editor, manually uninstalled Orbx Central through there and deleted all trace of Orbx Central.

I've taken the installer out of Windows 7 mode, unchecked and rechecked Administrator and the Installer has now kicked into life :)
