Well, as feared, Orbx Central has started behaving badly. I had a spare hour so decided to do the inevitable and install ORBX Central, as much as I didn't want to move from FTX Central, I realised it's days were numbered. I downloaded ORBX Central, during installation it asked me to remove FTX Central then asked me for  a location outside my Prepar3dv4 root folder to create a library, I created E:\ORBX Library, after which I was informed that this folder was not empty (it is). Orbx Central is now locked on this screen (image shown). I cannot upload the log file as it hasn't created one.

Wondering if me naming my dedicated SSD FlightSim drive as Prepar3D E:\ is confusing the installer.

What now?

I mark important folders green to avoid accidental deletion, green makes them stand out more, I also use other colours for different notifications.

How do you change the color?

I wonder if that may be the reason OC thinks it is not empty?

Good point, I''ll revert back to default and try it.

(Some time later):.....who would have thought. Doug, it now works and has accepted that location and is doing the necessary installation.

I thank you for your correct suggestion.

Steve.
