Haydon the Womble
I have reinstalled tried on and off with your tool and still have unwanted hills at Skagit. I know Lower Loom needs Aiport Elevation to be disabled but doesn't appear to work here. A I expect it will be something silly I havent thought of. Haydon the Womble
If it was something simple I haven't identified the problem. Its fine in FSX all wrong in P3Dv3 whether enabled in the vector Airport elevation tool or disabled. Nobody know what might be wrong?
Doug Sawatzky
Hi Please check for the presence of the file in the below image, except in your case P3Dv3/scenery/world/scenery, my image is showing P3Dv4 as I no longer have V3 installed. Also, be sure you have the "Default Terrain" entry active at the bottom of your scenery library.
Doug Sawatzky
Hi Sorry, I don't have the P3Dv3 file for you, but if you indeed do have the "Default Scenery" folder than running a "Verify Files" of the product will install the missing file. A common cause is that the P3Dv3/scenery/world/scenery folder is missing all together, or has just been excluded from your scenery library, so please attach a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3, and confirm the P3Dv3/scenery/world/scenery folder exists. Haydon the Womble
The only thing I can say in my defence is that it must be something stupid! I can't believe it but I didnt have PNW installed! I had a new PS failure recently and had new HDs fitted at the same time. I reinstalled everything and the emphasis was obviously on FSX SE. Sorry for raising an issue
