Overlay Changes

Is there a way to be selective with overlay choices please?

I'd like to have things such as chimneys, wind farms, power lines etc together with all the custom models in the custom folder.

I personally would prefer not to have the houses and trees. If not, is it possible to reduce the size of the trees at all please?
