Stillwater Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Hi, I have observed some green lakes on Yorke peninsula (S35.0446, E137.29)... ... and west of Port Lincoln (S34.1938 E135.2041). (S34.0177 E135.1636) The GPS and GE show water, so I suppose this may be a landclass error?
Adam Banks Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Hi Gerold! Is this in FSX or P3D? It's in the FSX support area, but your signature seems to indicate P3D4.4 .... I replicated one of your locations on my setup (P3Dv4.5 nd AU v2) and viewed it in all seasons ... it looked fine. Would you like some screenshots? Have you checked that that haven't run some textures mod tool (REX or similar) that could have re-coloured your inland water palette? Adam.

Thanks for you quick & creative reply, Adam. Indeed I use p3dv4.4 (I am not sure if AS16 is already updated). And you are right... I use REX to modify the water. Maybe these landclass tiles were touched by this (although I did not run REX after installing AUv2).
Holger Sandmann Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Hi there, the (partially) dry lakes in this area, including Lake Hamilton, will be changed in the upcoming service pack; see https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/174222-australia-2-lake-hamilton-lacks-water/?do=findComment&comment=1526511 Cheers, Holger
BradB Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Sound's like Orbx has a fix coming for you Gerold ; about time to eat here .....were having green eggs and ham . Inspired by your title of course . Cheers John
Adam Banks Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Hi Gerold/Holger! Even without the fix, this is what I'm seeing (taken at roughly the same time of the morning). Maybe I picked the one lake that *isn't* affected LOL: Winter: Spring: Summer: Autumn: So ... maybe re-runniing REX might do the trick. Adam.
Stillwater Posted August 22, 2019 Author Posted August 22, 2019 Hi @Adam Banks, I followed your suggestion and let REX do its job again. Unfortunately the examples given above (e. g. Lake Hamilton and the lakes west of Yorke) still remain green. It seems I will have to wait for the fix that was indicated by @Holger Sandmann.
