Jon Clarke
XPlane question:In order to move a current installed Orbx addon to another Disk, can you cut and paste to the new location or do you have to do a full reinstall? If you can cut and paste, which is totally physically possible, will Orbx Central recognise it's new location and be able to update accordingly? Quote Your Central log file provides us important information, please attach it to your support requests. You can find it at the following locations, or by pressing Control + Shift + L. Windows: %APPDATA%/Orbx/Central/central.log macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Orbx/Central/central.log Linux: ~/.config/Orbx/Central/central.log You can delete this box/quote once your log is attached Operating system: Simulator: Screenshot: Issue:
Mitchell Williamson
Hi! If you've installed an X-Plane 11 product using FTX Central 3, Orbx Central has a 'Migrate to Library' button that will do all the copying for you. You'll just need to launch Orbx Central, create a library in the location you'd like your products to be and then press 'Migrate to Library' on the given product. Jon Clarke
Yes got it thanks. Does this process involve a reinstall i.e. redownloading or just "moving" when migrating. I ask cos i may want to migrate TEGB and don't want the long download, extract, convert, install process again.
Mitchell Williamson
It will use your existing installation for as many files as possible. If there are any missing, corrupt or out of date files, it will download and extract only them. You should be able to migrate TEGB without needing to download many files, if any at all. I moved my HD from the Previous PC to build and new one and place ALL my Custom_Scenery folder content on a new 10TB drive. After reinstalling X-Plane it's time to get me scenery in order. Logged into Orbx Central and my account and purchase were indeed recognized. However, the process you described delete the old library exit /quote from Sys Tray restart and create a new Library where the files now reside only produces an error. I really hate to DOWNLOAD True Earth Washington all over again. Can you help?
MrScott
Any help on getting Central to relocate my only install to the new folder would be much appreciated.

By the time I read your response I had DL'd and reinstall everything all over again. Will just delete all the ORBX files I saved. Thanks for the suggestion through.
