elloco
Quote Your Central log file provides us important information, please attach it to your support requests. You can find it at the following locations, or by pressing Control + Shift + L. Windows: %APPDATA%/Orbx/Central/central.log macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Orbx/Central/central.log Linux: ~/.config/Orbx/Central/central.log You can delete this box/quote once your log is attached Operating system: win 10 Simulator: xplane 11 Screenshot: Issue: Hi, well, I am not sure, what I am doing wrong: I have a new x-plane installation on a portable ssd. Today I installed orbx central and I created a library on another portable ssd as I:\OrbxLib There I installed all my TE scenery and airports successfully, verifying files was successful as well, but no scenery could be found in xplane 11. And no entry in the scenery_packs.ini . Resynchronising simulator did not work either. So I uninstalled everything and reinstalled orbx central + EGPB-Airport. Same problem: it does not appear in x-plane. Where is the mistake?central.log thanks in advance for your support Didi
Mitchell Williamson
Hi Didi, It appears the symbolic links aren't being generated. Is your Custom Scenery itself folder a symbolic link/shortcut? If so, this may be a potential bug within Central.
elloco
Hi Mitchell, ty for your reply. My Custom Scenery folder itself is not a shortcut. It is a "normal" folder inside my xp11-installation. Didi
Mitchell Williamson
Hi Didi, We've just released Orbx Central 4.0.2 which has more logging about the XP11 configuration process. Can you try launching Central, let it update to 4.0.2 and then press 'Verify Files' on one of your products? After the process finishes, can you send us your central.log file again? elloco
Hi Mitchell, I have done this yesterday, but even with 4.0.2 nothing changed. That means, no orbx scenery in xp11. Therefore I uninstalled orbx central, deleted all related folders and returned to ftx central. Now everything is fine and I can fly again Unfortunately I do not have the central.log file anymore. But if I install orbx central again and my problem persists, I´ll send you the file. Thanks for your support. Didi
Dario
Unable to install Innsbruck on XP11 here. Same problem. ORBX Central obliges you to install the scenery into a new library (impossible to install directly in Custom Sceneries folder, which is weird) - and does not create the symbolic links. Nick Cooper
Hello Dario, I have the entire Orbx X Plane 11 catalogue installed into E:\Orbx X Plane 11 scenery library\xp11 and every one has a link in Custom Scenery. Clearly something is wrong with your installation of Orbx Central and if you want support, please create a new topic as described here.
