Aimee Sanjari
Good day fellow simmers, We are pleased to announce LEAS Asturias Airport for P3Dv4! Asturias Airport is the sole international airport serving The Principality of Asturias, situated on Spain’s beautiful northern coast by the Bay of Biscay. A short flight from Bilbao to the east, Asturias Airport serves multiple airlines such as Iberia, Vueling, and more, which fly to over 15 cities domestically and internationally with non-stop flights. With over a million passengers passing through the airport annually, Asturias receives plenty of tourists each year that come to enjoy its beautiful architecture, delicious seafood, various sporting events and mild climate. On approach, you will be greeted by a spectacular landscape of rolling hills, coastline, and bridges snaking across the terrain. Aside from the high resolution photoreal coverage included in the scenery, we have also included an extended coverage area for you to explore, with photoreal mountains, accurate landclass, coastlines and roads. LEAS makes use of the latest technology in P3D, including material scripting, SODE jetways, and advanced runway/apron effects to make your flights as immersive as possible. With plenty of runway space to accommodate your favourite jetliner flights to other European destinations and beyond, as well as a stunning array of landscapes to explore low and slow, we are sure Asturias will cater to any kind of flying you wish to do! By acclaimed developers Marcus Nyberg & Misha Cajic. Main Coverage Area: Features: - Stunning representation of LEAS Asturias Airport - Amazing approach with beautiful high resolution photoreal coverage and custom 3D bridges - PeopleFlow and animations - Exquisite texturing throughout - Advanced baked ambient lighting and render techniques - SODE jetways - Dynamic lights - Enormous extra coverage area with photoreal mountain tops, from north of Léon to Parque Nacional de Los Picos de Europa in the east - Highly optimized, perfect for the NGX & A320 pilot - Designed to blend best with ORBX Global Base and/or Global OpenLC Europe LEAS Asturias Airport will soon be available to purchase from OrbxDirect for AUD $39.95 (approx. mburkhard
Looking forward to this one! @Marcus Nyberg I know you're probably sick of this comment, but your taxiway edge lights are still white instead of blue, same as in Bilbao. Yes the halo seems to have a light shade of blue, but the light itself is still white. But it needs to be DARK blue

bradley27
Seriously.......ORBX, doesn't FTX Spain make sense? The country including Belearics and Canaries gets alot of love in the sim from other developers too. I always feel that the texturing from 35,000 looking down could be much more accurate even when i use OpenLC Europe. It would make alot of sense to go forth with such a project. Anyway just thinking out loud.

VH-KDK
Another one! It is getting hard to keep up with all of the new released and the ones in the pipeline. This will make for some great flying to Bilbao. Beautiful scenery as usual and good to see the poor man with the broom is now out of the elements and cleaning up inside. About time you guys took pity on him and gave hip an electric floor sweeper!
MasonDominique
OMG You are still developing sceneries for P3DV4 ? 95 % of your last products are for XP. Is it for real ? P3DV4 ?! Dom Mason
John Venema
Dom, your maths needs more work. 95% for XP11? 2019 P3D Releases Aust Airports V2 Australia V2 AU/NZ Traffic Update (Free) CAE3 Campbell River (Free) LIEO Olbia Global AIrport Pack update (Free) TrueEarth GB South TrueEarth Netherlands 1.1 Orlando Patches KSUN Friedman Memorial SODE Jetways update 2019 XP11 Releases TE US Washington TE GB North TE GB Central + SP1 TE GB South + SP1 2019 P3D -> XP Ports EGHP (ported from P3D) EGTH (ported from P3D) EGPB (ported from P3D) EGML (ported from P3D) EGTF (ported from P3D) EGSG (ported from P3D) You great the announcement of a brand new P3Dv4 airport with sarcasm and inaccurate statistics. How do you think that makes us feel as a team, especially those P3D developers who continue to work hard on new P3D content for you, some of them more than a year on a single project? We have more P3Dv4 titles soon to be released. Will you greet those announcement with equal disdain too? As a company we have made a strategic decision to develop for multiple platforms. That is a transitional change to our internal business model and it of course impacts overall output for P3D while we undergo the staff growth. But we are tiring of all the comments from people who think we have abandoned P3D when nothing is further from the truth.

LEAS is a great news. Each time a customer gives a sincere opinion, you should embrace it as it gives you indications about our feelings and what we expect. Its only one opinion here but since it's a bad one, it"s priceless. NB: i was sarcastic years ago when i launched Airdailyx but now i am old and i just expect times to times to get a nice airport ... JOE DYGAN
Hi all ! I know you will shoot me or throw me a grenade or something like that when you realise that my post has nothing to do with the great Aimee's release preview we are reacting to in this thread ... But I take the risk ! I wish one day to see a Gibraltar (LXGB) and a Faro (LPFR) sceneries from Orbx's maestro team to complete the iberian airports covering work already initiated ... In addition, these southern airports will also be likely to balance with the northern ones already and almost released !.. My apologies to you all to dream awake here ! Cheers ! So I understand you I did learnt that soon in Australia means the same as in my country. You have a date with your friends and then they ring you. Are you coming? Yes I am, I'll be there soon! and you have not even taken a shower Not sarcasm just to make the waiting more fun I'm counting the days to get this one (despite I have it by 3rd pty) I prefer Marcus'. JOE DYGAN
Dear Orbx's LEAS developer Team, I have a question please: As the LEAS area is known for its spray, rainfall, fog and low cloud conditions all over the year, I am wondering if you have included a line in the LEAS control panel to control the runway lights by day, manually or automatically? No obligation for an answer here. Anyway, I will discover it by my own after buying ... Cheers !
