Long time no see...

Due to my troubles ocurred during the switch to Win10 I did not fly & post as much as usual during the last two months. But I am getting back, slowly. Today you see me leaving for a short Easter holiaday, picking a safe Boeing at Hanover...

Northern France is mostly cloudy, ...

... but at least we can spot Biarritz over the south, to the right.

Hours later. Leaving the west coast of Africa behind...

Approching Gran Canaria from the south (as usual). You can see the global landclass is nothing but a disaster.

Nice ones Gerold but why is it a disaster?  It looks fine to me.

Welcome back Gerold, very nice shots.  And as Jack said why is it a disaster???

Thanks for watching and commenting, Jack & John. I rated this as a disaster, because I have been there many times for holiday, and it does not look like that at all at Gran Canaria´s southeast corner: No fields, no green vegetation (except in the greenhouses). There should be beaches, rocks, some villages and shopping centers as well as some small industry (e. g. la fabrica de hielo). There is a freeware photoscenery around which gives a better impression (except the autogen), but this is my hope for the upcoming OpenLC Africa.

Hi again Gerold, hope your WIN10 will run well now.

It seems so... though I am prepared for surprises, like the RealAir Legacy where the autopilot freezes the sim now.

Fantastic set of shots Gerold and the colours look good regards EMM

Thank you Stewart. I suspect you have been at the Biarritz / San Sebastian region in real life, so you can judge this picture really well.

nice shots, I have never been there so it looks all good to me....

Thanks wain. Let´s see how much OpenLC Africa will enhance the area - Microsoft has left enough potential to improve...

At least your "Safe" Boeing wan't a disaster - sounds like management and FAA better start talking faster.

Thank you OnD. I do not have a decent 737 model, and for sure not the MAX. Honestly, we are not allowed to fly this plane IRL for company travel currently.

Welcome back Gerold, and the shots look great even though i've never been there! :D

Thanks Adam. A nice place to escape from Europe´s winter, best travel season is therefore November to April.
