Pinkoo Bose
Hi Gentleman, I am a bit confused about installing ORBX products - I use FTX Central 3. So far I have installed vector, global base, open LC Europe and N America and the regions N and S Germany, England and wales. I have TE-SE as well which I have not yet bothered to try However I do not see any of these except vector in the scenery library when I open P3D... I am downloading and installing directly from FTX and I assumed it would have the pathway to install the sceneries. With other non- ORBX products previously, I have been asked for the the pathway to browse to - but this different somehow. I accept it must be something I am doing doing wrong (or not doing) and would appreciate some guidance. What am I doing wrong? I am not a very experienced user so require a bit of patience please..can someone please give me a step by step instruction to follow please Thanks Pinks i7 8700, 32MB, 1TB SSD, 2080Ti, Win 10 Pro 64 bit
W2DR
Have you also installed the Libraries? If not, you need to do so....................Doug

Pinkoo Bose
Hi Doug Thank you for getting back to me. No I have not as I did not bother as none of the sceneries were showing up... I still have TS-GBS to install, and I presume this needs to be done before the Libraries go on? I understood this was the last thing to be installed after all the files were installed... Please advise... Pinks
Nick Cooper
Hello, the advice that the libraries need to be installed last is many years out of date. Unless you install the libraries, the products do not work, as you have found. Please install them next.
Pinkoo Bose
Thank you Nick, I am sorry I have never used ORBX products yet. Out of interest, does it not matter any more when the libraries are installed? Thanks Pinks
Nick Cooper
All you need to do is use FTX Central to install them. You will see a notification at the lower left of the FTX Central window. Click on that and select install product. FTX Central will do the rest for you.
Pinkoo Bose
Ok Thank you Nick... So it just means you can install the libraries at any time? Pinks
Nick Cooper
Yes but if you want to see any of your products working, then now would be a good time.
