Stillwater
After another equipment change, this time in Hervey Bay... ... we follow the coastal road southwards, ... ... to River Heads ferry port. Ships depart to Wanggoolba Creek and to Kingfisher Bay Resort from there, ... ... which has a beautiful bay view. The resort gave home to a Royal visit recently, who most probably enjoyed the beach view as well https://www.kingfisherbay.com/royal-visit.html . For a little island tour we just follow the roads... ... which might lead to fresh water Lake McKenzie (Boorangoora as the Butchulla people say). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_McKenzie Touristic tours pass by the main ranger station at Eurong, ... ... where you can also start a 4WD tour along 75 mile beach. Speed limit is 80 km/h, I think. Not for me... The wreck of SS Maheno is a touristic focal point, ... ... though it might be wise to ask locals for the ocurrance of sea animals before going swimming here. We just cross Fraser Island back to Bogimbah village, ... ... over Big Woody Island, ... ... and watch some Whale watchers. If you like, you can book your tours in Hervey Bay. And remember this advise for travellers: Wear relaxed clothes, no smokings!
Captain Lars
Excellent Gerold. Very fun and entertaining tour. Fantastic gems you spotted like the sea life near the wreck... is that Orbx or is that OZx? I believe Frau Butschulla lives near Castrop-Rauxel. Jack Sawyer
That was exciting Gerold! But how do you know where you are so you can do such wonderful narrative? I'd love to do this all the time but I know it must take an enormous amount of work but it really brings out the shots so well.
BradB
Tremendous shots Gerold . Cheers John

I can´t say if the SS Maheno and the fishs/whales are already in Orbx, I suspect this is brought to us by OZx. 51 minutes ago, Captain Lars said: I believe Frau Butschulla lives near Castrop-Rauxel. Just like Lore Ley in Köln-Wahn ! No, no, Fraser Island is the homeland of the mentioned tribe. They call it K´Gari (=paradise). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraser_Island 20 minutes ago, Jack Sawyer said: That was exciting Gerold! It comes from numerous virtual flights in Orbxland, combined with travel guide reading. Mix this with Plan-G and a final shot of wikipedia and you´re there! 15 minutes ago, BradB said: Tremendous shots Gerold . Cheers John Thank you John! The Milviz 530 is very "handsome", I mean easy to fly. A true recommendation. I am quite sure you know all these place from ground level... Rodger Pettichord
Hey Gerold. Another great tour with another great guide-narrative. Having spent a bit of time in small choppers, I "get" this excellent sequence -- the vibration, the smell, the visibility, the sheer damned thrill of it. Thanks!
