Rodger Pettichord Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Was reading an interview in which the subject was asked what their "ultimate wisdom" was--that is, if you had to sum up what you've learned about life in just a few words, what would you say? That got me to thinking--what is my ultimate wisdom. If I were to sum up what I have learned about life it is "Be Kind". What would your words be?
lawrence aldrich Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 That old age generally means wisdom.....so strive to reach old age at all costs.
Bassman Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 An educated person knows that a tomato is a fruit..a wise person knows not to put it in the fruit salad.
TerribleT Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 To make sure to learn something new each day - the day you don't learn something new is the day they put you in a box (old saying taught to me by wise old man when very young )
olderndirt Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Off topic but I like what Mark Twain said about Rudyard Kipling - "He knows all that can be known and I know all the rest".
Fizzelle Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Rage away inside, but learn to "play the game" publicly so you're not treated as an obstreperous wallah!
