The snow marks Monte Melimoyu, just east of the Golfo Corcovado. Yes, there are trees! Descending into Puerto Montt... OK, looks well established. Lots of fjords and lakes around here that could be explored... basically this part of Chile could be using lots of the PFJ textures and autogen... I cannot speak for anyone else Gerold, but I do indeed have many thousands of miles racked up in the C-17 into and out of many austere locations.
