Stillwater
... and I am always underestimating the size of Argentina: Buenos Aires is nearly in the middle latitudes of the country, and still it is a 2.5 hour flight to the south. Taking off in Buenos Aires / Ezeiza: Heading south over the wide green plains... ... and the Atlantic coast at the Peninsula de Valdes. The Andes are visible in the background. Who likes approaching in such a visibility? At least Punta Arenas´ runway 31 can finally be seen. However, without vertical guidance and with a very tight final circle in the procedure this was not the finest landing... PS: I wonder if FTX Trees make a difference in the scenery down here . VH-KDK
Excellent set Gerold and like you I don't realise just how big the place is. Maybe they will have to bring out an ORBX grass and bush add on for the sparser areas of the planet.

I like approaching in this visibility. Sometimes I even wonder if those weather programs make the weather nicer for us to fly more VFR. Just repeat your landings until you're fine with them and take the extra practice with you... Seriously, I liked your journey a lot, thanks.
