flyingdrill
Hi I purchased both Plum Island and KACK sceneries from X-Aviation, who, as of today, no longer show them as products they are selling (although I still have access to the downloads - I think!). Using XP11 on a Mac, so I won't, as yet, be accessing Orbx X-Plane files in OS X through your management software. My files were zip files, which unzip to then use X-Aviation's installer mechanism and licensing system, rather than giving me a .dmg file. The question is, though, who is now responsible for my purchases, and that really only matters should you be pushing through updates?
Doug Sawatzky
Hi, Not sure it answer's you question, but have you seen the below release announcement? Cheers Doug
Bill Womack
I've spoken to Cameron at X-Aviation about working with Orbx to enable migration to their system, but I don't know if anything has come of it. Unless they work out a migration plan, x-aviation.com will continue to do support and host your downloads. If they do reach an agreement, they'll let you know how to proceed. flyingdrill
Thanks Bill. Just saw this. I just looked at my X-Aviation account, and I can still see and download the two products. As I initially said, any concern would only rear its head should there be updates.
