Stillwater
After spending some days south of Melbourne and checking the OZx world of Tasmania, I felt it was time to catch a flight into the outback. In order to have something faster, I did it like Martyn and copied the FSX-default 738 into p3d. Together with my ATC program (Pro-ATC/X) you can even follow SIDs and STARs via GPS in this simple plane. Getting ready in Tullamarine early in the day... ... and off we go. A view towards Essendon... ... and here we leave the coast! Looks quite dry south of Mildura... ... and even more around Spencer Gulf. No wonder the creeks around Coober Pedy are also not too wet currently. A biz class view of the outback. Navigation was correct, the VFR landmark is below. On final into the assigned 13 of Conellan... ... nearly done. The asphalt is so hot that the raising air keeps the plane hovering. Leaving the plane is dangerous and is suggested to be done with liquid cooling only.

Jack Sawyer
Excellent Gerold! Cool livery and I like that you ported over the 737. All always that's some nice narration, you and Martyn make it look easy!

Quite a contrast in nature and colours - well it also takes some hours to fly between these places... 8 hours ago, Jack Sawyer said: Excellent Gerold! It´s not my total pleasure to fly these default planes, but there was no other choice in my p3d hangar (currently...). 5 hours ago, adambar said: Nicely done Gerold! Thanks, Adam! VH-KDK
Wonderful views from a very enjoyable flight and I hope we will see some of your sightseeing from the area. Don't forget to hurry and climb Ayres Rock before it is too late.
