Stillwater
In the middle of my longish p3d-installation & testing process I found some time to do a joyful, touristic ride yesterday. The ground crew at Barwon Heads escorted me to the trusty Lancair. My flight plan was quite obvious. Surprising weather over south Victoria yesterday. @VH-KDK, can this be true or was AS4 cheating to me? Anglesea below. Another nice memory of one of my first flights & postings of the Orbx/Ozx world some 5 years back... Aireys Inlet, another Ozxed airstrip - not pasting perfectly here, but no option with this plane anyway. Crossing the Otway peninsula I felt like home. That is the weather we have here so often. Having many tourist road accidents reported from this great road, I had to use the safer vehicle. Here I can take photos while being on the phone, and I can´t even mix up which side of the road to take! Rounding Cape Otway (Jack, can you see the lighthouse down there?)... ... and closing in to Apollo Bay. I spotted the runway a bit late, this would be a sporty final... ... but I did a 270, so all worked well & smooth... I from oversea, no speak your langach. Wot does this letters means? At least they know where I was coming from.

Sorry Paul, my qualification is by far not sufficient to apply for such a job. Or passion, if one might say so. 53 minutes ago, BradB said: 12 Apostles flight , I understand the Pilot's name is Judas . Cheers John Thanks for your trust, John, I will try to fulfil it - even if sometimes inspired by some of the more loose examples here on the forum . VH-KDK
Excellent flight Gerold, great and witty narration with some marvellous images. Would you believe I have never been along here in RL, I always went east of Melbourne with the fishing supposedly being better. Appears to be a magical area to explore but with my lack of flying prowess I think I will need something a bit more docile than the Lancair. Just checked the weather for Apollo Bay and yesterday was windy with a top of about 17°C and I imagine cloudy. Cool here in the GV too but sunny, no shorts on yesterday! I can´t believe you have never went there. Not the Grampians either? People travel 20.000 km to see these places. But... the same here on my side, we can visit the nearby attractions when we really get old. First we meet on Bangkok... Thnaks for checking the weather, seems AS4 is not that wrong... 3 hours ago, Sniper31 said: Nice narration and set of shots Gerold, enjoyed this very much! Jack Sawyer
That was excellent Gerold. It must be adventure day for me today with all these cool posts. I didn't see the lighthouse down below but that's okay. I loved the whole set and narration. Brilliant. And where can I get this cool livery! Pretty please? VH-KDK
I have been to the Grampians Gerold and a very wonderful place it is too. Just a shame it is so prone to bush fires.

In that hot & dry climate I would not be too surprised if any area which is not only sand or stone would be safe from the fires. Of course this needs ignition, too... 18 hours ago, Jack Sawyer said: That was excellent Gerold. It must be adventure day for me today with all these cool posts. Jaydors livery can be found on http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/3702-realair-lancair-legacy-vh-tzx-racer/ . Another proof of how valauble OZx is.
