tcvalley420
I have recently run into this problem in the tropics. I have seen posts seeming to indicate this is an Orbx problem something to do with the LC or something. You can see the word "Winter" spelled out in the scenery. Please help thanks. Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. You appear to be the victim of misinformation. The writing on the textures is left over from the unfinished development of FSX by Microsoft. It shows that you are seeing FSX or P3D default textures and in turn, that shows that you do not have FTX textures installed. If you have any Orbx texture replacement products, please either install or reinstall them. If you do not have any, I can recommend them for the removal of this writing. tcvalley420
Nick thank you for your quick response. Here is the post that I was sent to: http://www.simforums.com/forums/utx-tac-red-blobs_topic59245.html. It seems to have been resolved when you gave him a newer file. I have downloaded the latest version for the global files but it didn't seem to help. Any ideas? Tom
Nick Cooper
Hello, I am not the same "Nick". If you own FTX Global Base, you should reinstall it.
tcvalley420
I do not own FTX global base - too steep for my budget I am afraid. I guess I will have to a clean install of P3D to fix this problem.
Nick Cooper
If you do, you will still have the same textures, they are part of default FSX and P3D.
