Getting ready in Martins Lodge for the test flight in my trusty C185, in a slightly misplaced, but beloved livery.

There are some free seats left in my plane, if you like?

And the views are going to be fine after this unspectacular takeoff.

An overview of Martins Bay...

I was surprised not to see lots of statics after parking in NZMF, as it came straight out of the box. I mean straight out of the wire (we have to adapt our language to these modern times).

But surely this can be changed in the control panel. And a remote airfield like this can get all details, even on my system.

BTW, the Mitchellwing U2 also works fully in p3dv4.

Brilliant shots from a great area, Gerold :)

Btw, the RealAir Lancair Legacy works also very well in P3D4 ,if you replace the RASLegacy_Sound.dll with a Doug Dawson's 64 bit version.

Cheers

Bluebear

Thanks for the compliment, Bluebear!

Re the Legacy: Just wait for my next post, mate...!

Fantastic shots, Gerold. The Mitchellwing is a great freebie from Aerosoft

Thanks Bernd. It is, indeed. Their installer is useless & confusing, but the plane is great for real low&slow!

Very realistic photo quality shots Gerold , so one month in are you happy with your switch to P3D ? .

Cheers

John

John, you have caught me. I have not used FSX a single time after I got my p3d running in a sustainable form. And... it works & looks great!

Nice tour Gerold!  I like the lady on the right, she's purdy!

And your settings are spot on perfect.

I was waiting for someone to comment on the scenery details here. You will surely follow me and fly down to Martins Bay after seeing the beauty of this place, won´t you?

For the time being I will not touch ... my settings, all works so fine!

Thanks Gerold!  Soon my friend, soon.  I really want to take my time in NZ.  But I have a lot to learn yet about this A320, quite the sophisticated Airbus!

I was disappointed to see the transfer of Aerosoft Bus is only scheduled for "early 2018", whilst stuff like PMDG is already ported. Let me see how I act...

Well, the FSLabs is extremely good.  That's what I bought.
