mopperle
LM states that only default files are getting updated with the content update: Quote The Content component will remove and update the following folders belowInstall_ Content.msi - Scripts, redist, SimObjects, Weather, Scenarios, Ecosystem, Fonts, Autogen, Effects, gauges, Sound, Texture This process will only remove and update Default Prepar3D files, It will not remove or overwrite Extra files (non default) that you have in place Source: https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6322&t=126976#p168163 So the question is does any Orbx product change any default files in the mentioned directories? Nick Cooper
Hello, interesting reading, I found that uninstalling the content component removed all the aircraft from the simobjects\airplanes folder, to include all my third party aircraft and all the Orbx AI aircraft. It didn't remove any of its default simobjects in the other sub folders. None of the third party, including Orbx, components were removed from the effects, gauges, weather, sound or texture folders. The autogen files must have been restored to default because there was none in the Orbx scenery but that was quickly cured by running FTX Central. For good measure, I also reinstalled the Orbx libraries.
