Stillwater
First, one for Sniper. Then we takeoff in a slightly colourful bird... ... over Honolulu, ... and leaving Oahu. Crossing Molokai, ... ... Kalaupapa, ... and Wailau valley, ... ... before changing planes in Kahului. Watching Maui´s north shore, ... ... and the "USS" Hana, ... followed by waving goodbye to Maui ... ... into pure white-blue. Arriving over Big Island... ... around Waimea... ... and finally downwind into Kailua-Kona. Quite a place for some holidays...

As indicated in this posts tags, the area is created by FTX Global, Vector, a Pilot´s mesh (see my spoiler below) and OLC_NA. The airports I landed are FSDT (PHNL, PHOG and PHKO. 20 hours ago, VH-KDK said: Fabulous set Gerold and your views are so clear. Is this P3D of FSX? I am also very pleased. 19 hours ago, Sniper31 said: Great Hawaiian series Gerold, and I appreciate the first shot of the C-17. Very cool When I saw that AI parking there, I hat to make the screenie for you. Probably you are inside ?? 19 hours ago, Jack Sawyer said: All really nice Gerold and another great story well told. It marked the level of simming in 2006, really magnificent work by those folks. 16 hours ago, BradB said: Wonderful shots Gerold . paulb
That is a great series Gerold! . It's really nice to see the different aircraft. Gosh, with both you and Martyn giving locations, my geography knowledge is improving every day! I don't know if my memory is fooling me, but wasn't Hawaii available as a floppy disk add on many moons ago? Anyway, it looks like a nice warm place to visit! Indeed this is the scenery taken more or less directly from the floppy disk. Just a bit pimped by maxing all sliders. Or so.
