Mickel
Lake Titicaca to the horizon The last of Peru before hitting the coast and Chile Another night time landing. I guess I'll see the Santiago scenery when I depart again in the morning...

VH-KDK
Beautiful duo of caps, great scenery. I can remember seeing an interesting programme on Lake Titicaca in the 60s and how everything was built out of reeds!

Mickel
Thanks guys. I did the run up to Arica and back - a one way runway for an airliner. Next trip is across to Buenos Aires (probably in the KLM triple - which will be interesting since I haven't flown it in months...). Hopefully I'll find it a little more green over that side. The mountains are nice, but it's all desert so far. Chile makes good wine, so there must be something vaguely green somewhere!
