johnny Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 Hello all, I'm working my way through alot of info I would quite recently have been afraid of but one thing leads to another and its all interesting stuff. assuming I am not PSU limited, what is the best graphics card I can reasonably hope to run off a Q6600 2.4GHz? could I hope to upgrade from 8500GT to 275GTX or am I dreaming? what should I be aiming for if I want best fro FSX (& fs9). thanks for help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Maurice_King Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 The graphics card you choose is not dependent on your processor but more on it's compatability with the Main Board, and from what I've seen here in te forums the GTX 275 is the pick of the crop currently. Virtualwombat Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 Bear in mind that FSX will not run much faster with a higher spec graphics card. FSX is much more dependant on your CPU.
