Dadtom65
Hi Kulbit. I have visited your beautiful Verona and saw the balcony of Romeo and Juliet. Think it was when I was with 31 photo recon Squadron and we did a detachment there to an Italian Air Force base. Even got to visit Venice I believe, such a long time ago. When some of us visited Verona, one of my mates who was Scottish and was wearing his kilt and as we walked past the Coliseum where they hold Opera concerts and one was on at that time, I could see everyone looking at us. Very nice place and wonderful people. Happy days. Derek.
Kulbit
Hi Derek, the pics above are from Milano wich is my birth place but i currently live in the beautiful Verona. i think that you were detatched to the Verona - Villafranca Air Base that in the past was the home base of the 28° Gruppo Ricognitori (Recon Squadron ) equipped with the RF104 .Starfighters. The Group was named the "Witches of Villafranca" I am very happy that you liked my city and its people. You are always welcome in Italy mate !! Have nice days.
