tennyson
OCZ have just released their new 500Gb Colossus SSD. It's read/write specs are 260mb/second, that's some 10 to 20 mb/sec faster than the last drives. Only problem, apart from actually finding a distributor who sells them, is coming up with the $2595 they are asking for them. Might just wait a few months for that price to stabilise........ nerd-tech
I know a person who has ordered one for his new system- our own Arismac!! It should be a rather crazy SSD yet fast and capacious.

jgruschow
If you wait for a price drop, you will find something available that is even faster and better. (and more expensive.) The best time to buy is now! People who wait for prices to drop never have the best.
