Stillwater
I did not have much time the last week to fly or to post. But at least I made it to head further towards the fresher regions of Europe, where the sun is now refusing to disappear for nearly 24 hours per day. With a King Air connection from Narvik... ... downwind to Tromsö, ... ... and into final. The visibility of the runway could be better. But here we are. The airport is pure EU_NOR. And here we go again... ... into the remainders of winter, ... ... over Altafjord... ... and into Hammerfest. We are on base here, though you can hardly spot the runway in the middle of the picture. Maybe now you get it. Ready to deboard... ... towards something I had missed so often in simmed airports: The Gold lounge!

Jack Sawyer
That's an awesome tour Gerold! But lemme ask, how did you get the camera into the terminal? I used to be able to do that ever so slowly with EzDok but now that I'm using Chase Plane not so much. But even with EzDok I still wouldn't see my plane outside, so how did you accomplish this cool feat?

To my disappointment the refreshments on offer are still a bit limited, as you can see in the shot. We might have to wait for the next generation of simulators for seeing them. And the one after that for the real pleasure (if airline savings won´t be faster than that and all disappears). 14 hours ago, BradB said: VIP shots Mr.Stillwater Sir . Cheers John Thanks, John. Unfortunately (see above) the VIP zone didn´t offer VIP drinks.

I was checking the level of detail of that newly purchased scenery, and that was indeed one of the surprisinf views. We are in a fligt simulation, aren´t we? The forum currently looks like a "I have trouble installing this and that" series, so I am glad that a simple screenshot series like this still gets visitors!
