anothercarbon
I'm looking for something like SkyVector for areas outside of the US: maps that include landmarks and things like power lines. I like to fly with no moving maps and to use landmarks in a the A2A Cub. So far it's hard in Canada and Australia. Any ideas? I didn't see those in the features of little navmap but correct me if I'm wrong. It's amazing that Orbx shows these things.

anothercarbon
Thanks Flukey but I had en route maps (if that's the right thing to call them) in mind.
Matt McGee
For what it is worth, you can find a bunch of free Operational Navigation Charts (ONC) here: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/onc/ Tactical Pilotage Charts (TPC) here: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/tpc/ Some additional aeronautical charts here: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/jog/ There are clickable index maps at the top of the pages or you can scroll down through the list. They are jpeg format, so you can save them and then zoom, crop, or print to your heart's content. I have not found a source for free Australian or Canadian VNC or VTC charts.
