Leaving Cardiff in the Percival Pembroke. 2. Now at Porthcawl and turning to the east to fly up the coast. 3. Nash Point. 4. The Aberfaw Power Station 5. Rhoose, Porthkerry Viaduct and the departure point of Cardiff (Rhoose) Airport. 6. Barry Island and the docks. 7. Chemical and power facilities at Barry. 8. Lavernock, where in 1897 Marconi gave the his first overwater wireless transmission to Flat Holm Island in the Bristol Channel. 9. Cardiff Docks. 10. The mouth of the Rhymney River at Tremorfa. 11. Now at Newport and the mouth of the Usk River. 12. Goldcliff Pill. 13. After crossing the Severn Estuary at Avonmouth. 14. The M5 on the perimeter of Filton Airport. 15 The Pembroke at Filton. Fabulous plane too. Cheers Erik. You can cheat using the outside view by moving the eye point until the PAPI lights line up perfectly, as if I would do such a thing though.
