Stillwater
Todays flight schedule saw the crossing of Abel Tasman´s Sea. And this means I headed westwards out of Auckland... ... waving goodbye to New Zealand. Two short snacks later, OZ comes in sight. Downwind over Botany Bay... ... and getting the lovely Windows chimes sound approaching Kingsford Smith. Perhaps too much ground detail, combined with lots of sea & air traffic, and a demanding plane. Luckily all went well... ... and I could even taxi (still under chimes) to the parking position. Ready to get back to smaller equipment.

VH-KDK
Excellent set Gerold with an if only plane. I do like to see these fictitious combinations. Great shot coming in over the Kurnell Refinery.

Thanks RJ, some fantasy was used here... 22 hours ago, bernd1151 said: Great flight. Love the textures on your plane, Gerold ... and it would be very easy to recognize at any airport. 23 hours ago, teecee said: Great set, Love that final shot at the terminal. Teecee. Indeed that shot shows a great success. Not easy to reach that position due to the high probability of OOM... 21 hours ago, Jack Sawyer said: Great set and yeah, I too love that terminal shot. Best you start praying, and do not overstress the mobile phone network." 12 hours ago, VH-KDK said: Excellent set Gerold with an if only plane. I do like to see these fictitious combinations. Great shot coming in over the Kurnell Refinery. "if only" is a nice description. There could be lots in our sim world... The refinery was the place where the OOM was closing in, with me being kind of happy that I saved the flight before. 3 hours ago, Wakashi said: Grand set! Too bad those chimes have to kick in when you least expect them! Well, to be honest, it did not come totally unexpected. Orbx-Sydney would be eating some memory, the 777 even more. On top a little Fly Tampa airport, 40% ships, 25% airliners... but I was more than happy to get it done!
