VH-KDK
Just looking at the BBC News site and came across this small article about the old mines and industry in the Lusatia area in the SE part of GEN. http://www.bbc.com/news/in-pictures-37895781 Did a flight in the area a few weeks ago and here are a few shots of the area. 1. The Barwalder See, where Cyril went for a paddle. 2. Boxberg power station close to the Nochten Boulder Park. Looks like the park is just above the second cooling tower on the left. 3. Tagebau Riechwauld one of the operational Lignite mines in the area. Great to see the old mine sites being restored into something useful. Hope you found this interesting. Voyager
Very interesting indeed. I see with joy this effort to recover the environment, providing leisure areas for the population. Great shots from there Martyn. Voyager

With any luck Erik, they need as much water as they can get to fill those holes in the ground up. 11 hours ago, Jack Sawyer said: Great tour Martyn! Thanks and I love that little plane. Cheers Jack.
