Thanks for the nice words, guys!

Please avoid posting pictures of this one! We'll let D'andre explore this parkinglot on his own ;)

Cute but I hope that it doesn't find it's way into the final release.

Love all the preview shots, Finni.  What a TON OF WORK you did here!!!  Looks great, and it looks like you have made huge progress.  Great job, looking forward to getting back to Nord Norge!

Do I see a sloped runway there? [emoji4]

Yes indeed!

Superb!

But please, can we relax on the screenshots. Would be nice to have something at all to discover when buying this. I feel like I've seen it all allready.

Stop watching the thread? :)

Excellent, as every year I would be for Christmas.
Tromsø and Hammerfest, a city which I know well.

I'm sure you will recognise many of the buildings!

I'm sorry you feel that way, Mike. I fly irl, and the thrill of trying to approach and touch down on a non-flat runway easily exceeds watching (in this case) only a few aircraft coming and going in an entire day. I have tried to add a mix of people and local aircraft to make the place feel alive anyway. I also hope to get in contact with LM to push towards updating the AI for slopes :)

what fun is an airport without moving air traffic other than you

As you said, fun is a personal, subjective thing. I personally like the variety of having a just a few airports with unusual runways, even if the price is no AI traffic because of technical limitations in the simulator platform. If I still have AI traffic everywhere else except those very few unsual airports, then it's not a deal breaker for me.

Well, if we won´t see AI traffic using the runway (and I am using FSX, not LM), maybe we could still have some life around: Like the copter in EDVY or KEGE, or even some GA just flying around (endlessly...). And I hope for lots of ship traffic to make the playground alive?

Sure, I can try and animate some choppers! :)
GA would be a problem, since animations don't stop for a give-way ;)

I am working with Henrik Nielsen of the global shipping package to make sure the LNG tankers and hurtigruta docks perfectly.

First of all congratulations with the new scene! Looks just Great. Norway is really getting spoiled with nice scenery. And yes, I will make sure that all traffic is adjusted to match perfectly with this scenery in the upcoming update of Global AI Ship Traffic. There will also be quite some new ships from the offshore industry included  fitting with this and other Norwegian sceneries.

Hope the sloped runway will not be abandonned like for Narvik (the reason i didn't buy it).

It gives more challenge and more realism.

And if we are more and more sloped runways (and taxyways), perhaps LM will give a chance to modify Ai engine to use them.

I was very anxious when I sent the airport out to beta, but the reports are all positive towards the curve.

I guess people will have to make the decision themselves, if a few daily AI flights are more important than this entire city for them to explore :)

You cannot please everyone, we are all different and I have plenty of other airports with AI traffic in them.

Plenty there to keep me amused for a while.

SLOPED RUNWAY!!! Thanks God!! Day 1 purchase, for sure!!

I don't give a da.... about AI traffic when sloped gives so MUCH MORE immersion compared to real world!!

Thanks very much for this, I wish the sloped keep coming!

Especially in a remote location like Hammerfest you 'd only see traffic every few hours..
