VH-KDK Posted October 18, 2016 Share Posted October 18, 2016 I am currently doing a zig zag trip around Saxony which is in the south eastern corner of GEN for those like me who don't know the geography of Germany. 1. So here we go again, taking off from the grass strip at EDBX Gorlitz. 2. Turning over the historical town and heading west away from the border with Poland. 3. The Konigshaner Berge tunnel . 4. The junction of the A4 with the S122 at Arnsdorf. 5. A closer view of the A4 near Weissenberg. 6. Landing at Bautzen EDAB. 7. Stormy looking dawn skies as we leave EDAB for the short hop to Klix. 8. Heading over the A4 heading north. 9. Czorneboh mountain is on the horizon. 10. Many lakes in this area, this one is Meithesteich. 11. Too busy looking at the scenery and did not notice the runway markers so a tight turn followed by a smooth landing. 12. At Klix EDCI. A great area for flying low and slow.
