renault
Sightseer recently posted a great screenshot collection ,"9 USA(mostly) shots" in which he showcased his wonderful sky and cloud textures. I really enjoyed his cloud textures as they have a soft fluffy nature which reproduces real life cumulous clouds very well. I was curious how a recent posting of mine "Playing with light ...) would look using his cumulous cloud set. I was really intrigued with how the view changes, as well as how I was able to get ambient lighting to back enhance some clouds in a very different and interesting way compared to what I was using. I really enjoyed this and I hope you will as well. Thank you Sightseer and most importantly thank you ORBX for the wonderful scenery that makes this all possible Cheers Renault Original settings: REX essential + HD Cirrus Set: 09/Cirro Cumulus Cumulus Set: 56/Strato Cumulus HD Enabled Resolution: 4096x4096 Weather theme: Custom constructed by myself using a combination of cirrus/cumulus layers using the FS2004 SDK Weather Theme Creation Tool Shader modifications: Reshade with CustomFX, GemFX, McFX shaders Simulator: FSX DX10 Acceleration Gold Boxed Set Location: Lat N48 28.04' Lon 123 24.40' Alt 15597 Mag 312 Speed 116 kts Original Screenshots SightSeer Screenshots Cloudset #6 1024 Cloudset #7 1024 Cloudset #8 1024 A few randoms (Cloudset #7) ........................ Jack Sawyer
Man, they're all good. The orange makes them look threatening like I'd be looking for a place to land but what beauty! Enjoyed the comparisons. Jack
