Guest JamesChams
Staff, Perhaps this has been asked in another forum but, I haven't found it, so I wanted to know ... 1. Are the FREEWARE ORBX going to be SP3 Certified as well or not? I haven't installed the versions that are currently on the FREEWARE Page, if you are planning on (SP3) certifying them, 2. will I have to re-download a newer version of these airports or will the SP3 Download updaters (3.001/3.001b) be enough? Thank you for your time.
John Venema
They will be certified one by one through August/September. If you are using an English language version of FSX you can: 1. Install all the freeware airports 2. Then re-apply the SP3.001 patch The SP3 Certification is mainly designed to avoid umlaut and unicode bugs for non-English FSX users. The SP3 Certification process will also enhance all airports to take advantage of new Orbx object libraries and Aero, so it's not a super-quick process, but you will get much nicer freeware airports at the end
