What happened to the docks?

Hello

I've only recently bought the FTX Global/Vector/Eu LC.

Vector seems to causing this issue close to my home airport.

I've tried reinstalling Vector with the same result.

The First Pic is with Vector disabled

Any Ideas?

All The Updates / Orbx Libs etc. are installed and the Scenery Library looks fine.

I've had a look around a few other areas where I'd expect to see docks with mixed results. Rotterdam has some nice dockland and some with bland grey areas, so I'm non the wiser.

Thanks,

David.

Hi David,

I remember reading somewhere that there were a few issues around Liverpool and the docks with FTX England.

The following link provides access to a freeware add-on that fixes the issue.  There is also a patch in the link below.

Here is the main link

and a patch that fixes a few issues

Hope this helps you with your issue.  Cheers,

Calum

Cheers Calum,

I think those files just add a few custom buildings to the area.

FSX never did the Liverpool docks very well and FTX hasn't improved things.

But that's not the problem here, FSX did have the Brkenhead Dock but vector has filled it in!

I'm just not sure what to expect, not sure if this is how it is in fTX or there is something wrong with my installation.

I saw in the install log that there are numerous "Skipped" entries but don't know if that is any indication of a problem, I suspect not.

Thanks.

Thanks Nick, that's all I needed to know.

Do you know if EuEngland does a better job of this area?

I can't find any screen grabs that aren't the airport.

Never mind, tried some other searches and found some pics, looks a lot better

Thanks
