No Object an People Flow

Recommended Posts

After a fresh installing of prepar3d and then step by step installing of global base, global vector, openLC Europe, ORBXlibs and the freeware airports EDBH and EDCG i have no people and object flow in the scenery...  grass levels are not visible too, but its all synchronised and activate with FTX-Central. What can be the problem?

Hi Greyman76,

I have the same problem as you have. After a fresh installation on a new PC with Windows 10 64bit and Prepar3d v3.3.5 (also tried v3.2) I don't see people, grass etc.

My installation is with pacific fjords and Stewart and New Zealand South Island with Milford sound.

Although the ORBX installations are different the issue looks the same.

On my other PC's it is running fine.

I will check the differences. (config, Microsoft C++ libs??)

If I find something I keep you informed.

Regards,

Hi Greyman76,

Found it.

In a new installation Windows10 only the 2012 and 2013 versions of Microsoft Visual C++ are installed.

I have added 2008 and 2010 and I think the 2010x86 version is essential.

After installing run the Orbxlibs again.

Hi Ewout,

I have a similar problem so I tried to download the C++ 2010x86 and also x64 libraries but I got a pop up stating that I can't because I have a newer version of Visual C++ installed...

How did you manage to overcome this?

Hi All

Same for me

A new reinstall of P3Dv3.3 on a clean disc

Win7

Base,Vector.LC Europe,LC America and PNW all installed -FTX Central recognising everything.

Vernonia 05S and Israels Fm WA56 installed -most things there except for people and grass. Odd!
